Crime Stoppers

SERVING ALL OF PLYMOUTH COUNTY

The Le Mars Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public in several stolen vehicle reports. The first occurred on Jan 10, 2012 between the hours of 7AM to 5 PM. A silver 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo was taken from the west parking lot at the North Ice Cream Plant. This vehicle was recovered in Le Mars on Jan 12, 2012 after being left in the 100 blk of 6th Ave Sw. A second car, a 1999 Beige Chevy Lumina was taken from 301 4th St Sw at 10:30 AM on Jan 16, 2012. A witness observed a black male driving away with the car. This vehicle has not yet been recovered. In both instances, keys were left inside the cars. It is recommended that owners remove their keys and lock their cars, even while parked on their own property.
